The Right T-shirt
Choosing the right t-shirt for your project can be a little frustrating. There are many brands, styles, colors and fabrics to pick from. Here’s some information that may help. For additional information and inventory take a look at our catalog.
T-shirt fabrics are generally broken into three groups.
Cotton:
The basic cotton tee is a classic you can never go wrong with. Cotton tees are made from a less expensive, less refined open-end cotton, offering good value for a basic tee.
The higher end cotton t-shirts are made up of combed and ring-spun cotton, which gives them a softer, higher quality feel and fibers are more durable.

Synthetic:
These garments are made up of polyester or nylon fabrics usually used for athletic wear, outerwear and accessory garments.

Blends:
50/50 garments are made up of 50% cotton and 50% polyester. The 50/50 fibers give the garment the light and cool feel of cotton and the strength of polyester.
Tri-blend garments are usually made up of three different fibers, 50% polyester, 25% cotton and 25% rayon. For the most part tri-blend shirts on the market have a heather look to them. They are also very soft, light weight and keep the body cool.
